JASON

Camera Crab

JASON

JASON crabs sideways, taking pictures all the while, to make time-lapse films. He can move sideways, or forwards or backwards because of his amazing Mecanum wheels. Here he is in action

and here's a time lapse of a daffodil opening. This short movie took 6.5 hours to film!

Why use a robot instead of the camera's built-in time lapse? In this case; in order to get a more interesting shot; the perspective changes as the camera swoops round the flower.
You could also do tracking shots, such as a tendril growing along.
